Our operations team treat our crew as individuals, understanding their unique skill sets. This, combined with our values, ensures our clients receive the best experience, to the Five Star Standard.
Whether it’s a simple unloading job, a complex stage build, a time-sensitive turnaround, or a large scale live event, our crew will strive to go beyond what is required to offer the best in class service.
Five Star Crew, the original division of the Five Star Events Group, set out to do things differently in the crewing industry back in 2015.
Five Star Crew, the original division of the Five Star Events Group, set out to do things differently in the crewing industry back in 2015. Being a people business, we believe that if our main focus is looking after our people, then our people, in turn, will look after our clients. We do this by providing support through our nationwide local operational structure, training to the highest accredited standard, and paying the best rates whilst remaining fully IR35 compliant.
With teams throughout the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, our experienced crews are trained and on hand with a wide range of everyday onsite tasks, performed with the upmost efficiency.
Our crew are qualified in a number of specialist tasks. These include follow spot operators, carpenters, first aiders & CSCS card holders.
Each of Five Star’s Crew Chiefs are tenured event professionals with a number of years under their belt. Each of our Chiefs are required to adhere to rigorous training and guidelines to ensure they are qualified to lead our teams through a project.
Our crew are well versed in assisting in house and touring production companies with a range of tasks, including the set up of rigging, lighting, stage and sound. Our teams are on hand before, during and after productions to ensure the show runs to the highest professional standard. Our trained Production Runners are also on hand to assist throughout a show.
Our qualified plant operators are trained through Five Star Training. Our range of operators include counterbalance forklift, telehanders and mobile elevated work platforms.
Our teams are on-hand and ready to assist with a range of tasks including the erection of staging, scaffolding structures, bespoke structures, marquees, grandstands, event and festival flooring and much more.
